California may still be suffering from a horrid drought, but that doesn’t mean it hasn’t stopped having fun. Annual Oakdale festival, the Symbiosis Gathering is no exception. The four-day party will be entering it’s 11th year when the music blares this September.
As an outlet for fans of all sorts of electronica, the festival will certainly appeal to fans of ambient, minimal and psychadelia, but also bass, house, classic techno and much more.
The music will features artists such as: Hundred Waters, FKJ, OTT & the All-Seeing I, An-Ten-Nae, Astrix, Atmos, KMLN, Ivy Lab, Sun:Monx and Beats Antique, to name a few. FKA Twigs, Gramatik, RL Grime, Santigold, Ta-Ku and Warpaint lead as the headliners.
If the music isn’t enough to pique your interest, the festival has a dizzying display of other activities as well. The Elemental Alchemy series, for instance, includes yoga, performances, ancestral arts workshops, Art Boats, art installations and live art creation. There’s too much to properly list, frankly, so be sure to go to the Symbiosis Gathering website and check out all that’s on the agenda.
The Symbiosis Gathering will be held at Woodward Resevoir once again, from September 22-25.
