Day for Night 2016

The year is winding down and, at least in the North, winter is coming. But that doesn’t mean the music has to stop. Music fans should take a trip this December to Houston, TX, for this year’s Day for Night festival.

Day for Night is both a current snapshot of popular music, as well as a showcase for trailblazers who continue to crossover from fringe to influential. The focus across multiple musical genres is on acts that specialize in an inventive and highly visual approach to performing.

The lineup this year is a usual plethora of eclecticism, but around these parts there will plenty of buzz surrounding Aphex Twin – the first performance in eight years – and Squarepusher, whose US tour dates are few and far between. Running from December 17th to December 19th, tickets range from $100 for a daily general admission to $700 for the VIP experience.

Here’s much of the lineup that will be appearing at Day for Night 2016:
