RFS Picks: March 31, 2019

Greetings, fellow music lovers! It’s been a whirlwind of a start to the year, but the one constant, is music lovers will always search out the latest and greatest new music.

With that in mind, here are three new picks for listeners to rattle around in their brains. First up, we’ve got Endless Melancholy’s Her Name in a Language of Stars. Released in July of 2015, Ukraine’s Oleksiy Sakevych put together EM’s 4th album with a hazy, highly spatial ambient style that is sure to please. It continues to have great staying power even 4 years after it’s debut.

Next up, we’ve got From Here to Eternity by Kyle Bobby Dunn. Processed guitar combined with cinematic swells led Dunn’s latest work to be quite dense, ominous, ethereal and eminently listenable.

And to wrap things up for today, we have Purl’s Violante (Lost in a Dream). Perfect for drifting off into another world, the intense spatial ambient tones created by Ludvig Cimbrelius are both easy to embrace yet highly nuanced, begging for another listen.

Stay Tuned!
